It holds more than 100 patents (over 30 of them invention patents), 203 registered trademarks and 5 international patents, and has been recognised as a provincial “Specialised, Refined, Distinctive and Innovative” enterprise.
With operations spanning power, batteries, new energy, new materials, non-ferrous metals and trading, Kage has formed a supply chain of coordinated, multi-industry development. Guided by its philosophy “In Step with the World, Win-Win with Customers”, the company is committed to providing safe, efficient and green one-stop energy solutions for users worldwide.
Chen Ronghua is the founder and chairman of Kage Group and the founder of the Kage Charity Fund. A career-long battery manufacturing entrepreneur, he entered the battery industry in 1996 and has driven the Group's global expansion. He currently serves as Party Branch Secretary and Supervisor of the Guangdong Fujian Chamber of Commerce and as founding president of the Guangdong Fujian Ningde Chamber of Commerce, and has been named an Outstanding Entrepreneur of China's lead-acid battery industry. He has long been active in social welfare and community programmes.
The Group owns brands including KAGE POWERSPORT, MOTOBATT, MTX and KAGE ENERGY SOLUTION, organised into two business segments: powersport batteries and new energy storage.
Kage Energy Storage develops four self-designed system families: residential, commercial & industrial, emergency backup and motive storage.
Residential storage covers all-in-one, portable, stackable, floor-standing, wall-mounted and rack-mounted products; commercial & industrial storage includes distributed cabinets and containerised large-scale systems; motive storage covers starting and start-stop applications. Products serve UPS backup, grid-tied PV-storage, off-grid microgrids, golf carts, AGVs and two- and three-wheelers, with projects delivered across China, Russia, Southeast Asia, Africa and South America.
In 2024 the Group's 70,000 m² Shaoguan production base in China commissioned its automated battery line, using an MES system for real-time production data capture to ensure consistent product performance. Cumulative investment of USD 3 million in air and water pollution control supports green, low-carbon manufacturing, significantly reducing emissions on the way to the Group's zero-discharge target. The Group holds more than 100 patents, including over 30 invention patents and 5 international patents; 15 core patented technologies have been transferred from racing into production; and 203 trademarks are registered.

Kage brands hold strategic partnerships across international motorsport, including Red Bull KTM Ajo Moto2/Moto3, MXGP European motocross teams and several world champion riders. Track data feeds back into product development, transferring racing patents to road-going batteries and delivering powersport products to global markets.
