In the production process of lead-acid batteries, multiple links directly affect the performance, lifespan, and reliability of the battery.

Guangdong Kaijie Power Co., Ltd. has been committed to the effective improvement of production processes, and has made a series of improvements and enhancements in the manufacturing process, assembly process, chemical transformation process, shell and sealing process of electrode plates, reflecting the ultimate pursuit of battery performance.

In the previous issue, we introduced the production process of electrode plates. In this issue, we will talk about the assembly process.

The structural accuracy of the pole group affects the internal resistance and consistency of the battery. Misalignment of electrode plates or poor contact of electrode ears can increase internal resistance, leading to voltage drops during high current discharge. Inconsistent assembly can exacerbate the performance differentiation of individual cells in the battery pack and shorten the overall lifespan.

The electrode plate assembly of Kaijie batteries is strictly screened according to capacity and thickness (error ≤ 3%) to avoid the "short plate effect" when connected in series. When welding the electrode ears (such as ultrasonic welding or casting welding), the strength and conductivity of the welding points are ensured to avoid local overheating caused by virtual welding.

The concentration and amount of electrolyte directly affect the ion conductivity efficiency and electrode reaction activity. Concentration deviation can lead to sulfation of the electrode plate (such as the formation of coarse lead sulfate crystals on the negative electrode when the density is too low), and insufficient injection can cause local drying of the electrode plate, leading to irreversible capacity loss. Excessive concentration of sulfuric acid can accelerate grid corrosion, while insufficient concentration can reduce capacity. Excessive injection can cause electrolyte leakage, while insufficient concentration can affect the reaction area.

The sulfuric acid density concentration of Kaijie batteries is usually controlled at 1.24-1.30g/cm ³ (25 ℃), and the injection volume strictly considers the wettability of the electrode plate and the prevention of overflow.

Quality has always been an important cornerstone for Kaijie Battery to win the market. This commitment to quality has enabled Kaijie Battery's production process to strive for excellence and win high recognition from domestic and foreign customers.
