On August 8, 2025, Guangdong Kaijie Power Co., Ltd. held a grand groundbreaking ceremony for the second phase of the project in Renhua County Industrial Transfer Park.

      At the groundbreaking ceremony, Wan Zhiming, Deputy County Mayor of Renhua County, and guests such as Chen Ronghua, Chairman of Kaijie Power, jointly held the "golden shovel" to lay the foundation for the project. Vice County Mayor Wan Zhiming stated in his speech, "As a benchmark enterprise in Renhua County's new energy industry, the construction of Kaijie Power's R&D center will further enhance the region's scientific and technological innovation capabilities, injecting new momentum into Renhua's high-quality development

Invest 340 million yuan to build a dual engine of "production+research and development"

       It is reported that the second phase of the project, which started construction this time, will focus on building a research and development center and employee shift rest rooms. After the completion of the project, the R&D center will become the "smart center" for technological breakthroughs in the enterprise, and the complete living facilities will realize the humanistic concept of "warming the heart for struggle and empowering practical work".

       Chen Ronghua, Chairman of Kaijie Power, reviewed in his speech: "Since investing 340 million yuan in 2021 to build a production base for 1.6 million kilowatt ampere hour batteries annually, the first phase of the project has been successfully put into operation in April 2024, laying a solid industrial foundation for the construction of the second phase research and development center

       Chen Huainan, General Manager of Vietnam Dura Motorcycle Co., Ltd., attended the ceremony as a representative of international partners, marking new progress in the strategic layout of Kaijie Power in the Southeast Asian market. This project will integrate the technological advantages of China and Vietnam to jointly develop high-performance power products suitable for motorcycles.

       Lin Jianming, General Manager of Kaijie Power, stated that after the completion of the second phase project, the company will form a complete industrial chain of 'research and development production application', and it is expected that the annual R&D investment will increase by 40%, providing strong technical support for the new energy industry in Shaoguan. The project adheres to the corporate spirit of "rigor, pragmatism, efficiency, and achievement", focuses on tackling the technology of lithium battery cascade utilization, and helps achieve the "dual carbon" goal.

       As the salutes were fired, the attending guests worked together to cultivate the soil and lay the foundation. This modern park that integrates research and development innovation with humanistic care is expected to be completed and put into operation in 2026, making it one of the largest new energy research and development bases in Guangdong region.
